Ageing Well Programme

man cyclingThis four-year programme is developing an integrated public health approach to optimise health in older age groups.

The work involves four complementary themes:

  1. predicting risk across sub-groups of the older population
  2. compiling what is known about current practice and equity
  3. identifying and evaluating interventions tailored for older age wellbeing
  4. modelling population changes over time

The programme, which is led and coordinated from Cambridge, consists of six core projects, a cross-cutting cognitive health theme, and 32 collaborators from all NIHR SPHR member institutions. Read more about the work here.
